Job Description

• Coordinate customs clearance activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all required procedures are completed efficiently and within the expected timelines.
• Prepare, review, and process shipment invoices, customs reports, and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Liaise with customs authorities, customers, internal departments, and other relevant stakeholders to support smooth shipment processing and clearance.
• Guide customers through customs requirements by explaining clearance procedures, necessary paperwork, documentation standards, and related processes in a clear and professional manner.
• Ensure customs records and shipment information remain accurate, up to date, properly stored, and readily accessible when required.
• Provide administrative and operational assistance to the department, completing additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as needed.
• Handle customs-related information responsibly and confidentially while following company policies, established procedures, and applicable documentation requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding matters and support timely completion of customs formalities.

Job Details Experience

• University degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Previous hands-on experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics, shipping operations, or a related field.
• Good computer skills, including the ability to maintain digital records, organize files, process documentation, and manage routine administrative tasks.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling invoices, shipment records, customs forms, and other important documents.
• Honest, dependable, and responsible approach to assigned duties, particularly when working with confidential or sensitive information.
